The Receivers are a band from Ontario Canada, who play contemporary folk music. They combine Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, and Electronic Bass to create a unique sound that has everyone up and dancing!

In 2023 The Receivers were nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award in the category of Young Performer(s) of The Year, and traveled to Vancouver BC to attend the ceremony. In March of 2023 The Receivers toured in Vermont, USA where they played shows in Burlington, and the surrounding areas.

Currently the receivers are writing tunes, traveling around Ontario, and playing music to spread Joy! They most recent single Highland Cow was released in July of 2023.
